The Faculty of Health, Sciences, Social Care and Education is seeking to appoint an external examiner for five modules within the MSc Clinical Leadership programme, these include:
- Healthcare Management and Evaluation
- Leadership and Change Management
- Reflexive Leadership
- Research Methods and Data Analysis
- Capstone project (60 credits)
The MSc Clinical Leadership programme is designed for qualified health and social care professionals, who wish to develop their leadership abilities and management techniques. The course aims to enable students to lead improvements in practice and to explore a leadership topic of interest in depth, with the aim to publish.
The appointed examiner will be expected to submit a Module Summary Report form following completion of their audit of work, and completion of an annual EE report. The tenure is for four years with effect from September 2023.
The applicant should have relevant academic and/or professional qualifications in nursing and leadership, and experience and knowledge of UK Higher Education as well as UK sector agreed reference points for the maintenance of academic standards and assurance and enhancement of quality.
