The University of Northampton is looking for an external examiner for our MSc Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CAMH): https://www.northampton.ac.uk/courses/child-and-adolescent-mental-health-msc/

This programme follows Level 7 Learning Outcomes and involves the following modules: PSYM105 Understanding Children and Young People’s Distress; PSYM106 Therapeutic Skills for Working with Children and Young People; PSYM064 Working with Schools, Parents and Communities, PSYM065 Therapeutic Interventions with Children, Young People and Families, PSYM132 With Young People in Mind: Clinical, Community or Educational Placement; PSYM085 – Qualitative and Quantitative Research Methods and PSYM086 – Dissertation and Research Methods, which are also shared with other Masters programs in the counselling children and young people, and counselling subject areas.

We are looking for someone:

  • Who is suitably qualified with expertise in the above areas, ideally a Programme Leader or Senior Lecturer on similar programmes;
  • Previous experience as an external examiner is strongly preferred

The appointment will be for the four academic years 2024 to 2028, from 1 October 2024
