The School of Health Care Professions is seeking to appoint an External Examiner for our new MSc Advanced Clinical Practitioner programme. The post holder will be the lead examiner for the programme and will moderate all modules on the programme, therefore they should be an NMC registrant and a suitably experienced academic staff member involved in the delivery of higher education programmes in health and social care.
As an External Examiner, you will be responsible for contributing to the quality assurance of the programme. You will be involved in approving assessment tasks, moderating student work, and completing an annual report and will be invited to attend module assessment and examination boards. You may be asked to provide comments on proposed modifications and the development of new modules.
