Buckinghamshire New University is seeking to appoint an External Examiner for the Advanced Clinical Practice programmes:

MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice
Advanced Clinical Practitioner Degree Apprenticeship
The post holder will be the lead examiner for the following modules:

ALL7024 – Evidence-practice for the advanced practitioner (20 credits)
ALL7025 – Clinical assessment and biomedicine for advanced practice (20 credits)
ALL7026 – Medical investigations and diagnostics for advanced practice (20 credits)
ALL7027 – Negotiated major project (40 credits)
ALL7028 – End point assessment (apprenticeship pathway) (20 credits)
ALL7029 – Minor illness and injury (20 credits)
ALL7030 – Emergency and critical care (20 credits)
Applicants must have current professional registration (e.g., HCPC, NMC), and relevant academic and professional experience in advanced clinical practice. Previous experience as an external examiner is welcomed, but consideration will be given to those seeking their first appointment.

As an External Examiner, you will be responsible for contributing to the quality assurance of the programme. This includes approving assessment tasks, moderating online assessments, providing feedback on proposed modifications, attendance at online examination boards and completing annual reports.
