We are seeking to appoint an external examiner for The MSc in Advanced Practice (Midwifery) Degree Apprenticeship. The external examiner would need experience of teaching and assessing at Masters level and be an NMC registered midwife. Previous external examiner experience is desirable although we would welcome expressions of interest from those new to this role.
The appointment will be from October 2021 for four years and the commitment required is as follows:
- To review a range of coursework throughout the year.
- To attend board of examiners meetings for the programme during the year and submit an annual external examiner report.
- To engage in communication with the programme team.
- To carry out at least one virtual or face to face meeting with students
