The School of Human and Health Sciences at The University of Huddersfield is seeking a replacement external examiner (EE) for our apprenticeship and traditional MSc Advanced Clinical Practice (ACP) courses. The University of Huddersfield has been providing advanced practitioner education for over 20 years. We are a Gold 2023 TEF (Teaching Excellence Framework) organisation and recently were awarded Outstanding by OFSTED for our apprenticeship provision. We have interesting programmes here at Huddersfield with specialist pathways (listed below) for students and employers to choose from:
- Cancer care
- Critical care
- Emergency care
- Mental health care
- Primary care
The MSc ACP courses at The University of Huddersfield are multi-disciplinary and we are seeking an EE who is NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council) or HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council) registered with the following background:
- A masters’ degree in relevant subject
- An independent and supplementary prescribing qualification
- Experience in Advanced Clinical Practice and Apprenticeships to oversee the End Point Assessment (EPA) is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
- Applicants should have recently been employed (or are still employed) within a university appointment.
