The School of Health Sciences, in the Faculty of Environmental and Life Sciences, is looking to appoint an External Examiner for our Level 7 NMC and HCPC validated Non-medical prescribing programme, which attracts a range of health professionals including nurses midwives and AHPs.
Applicants should hold appropriate academic qualifications (minimum of Masters Level) and must have a registered qualification in non-medical prescribing with experience in teaching/leading a non-medical prescribing course desirable.
Previous experience as an External Examiner is desirable but not essential, as mentoring can be provided where necessary.
Examination Boards take place twice a year. Fees and Expenses are payable in line with the University’s External Examiners policy.
