The Faculty of Health is looking to appoint an External Examiner for the MRES in Health and Wellbeing Programme (Level 7)

The MRES Health and Wellbeing Programme aims to provide a dynamic and in-depth framework for research training that is designed to support beginning and intermediate research-scholars. The programme involves the exploration of contemporary and wide-ranging methodological frameworks and methods of data collection and analysis, via a process of intellectual engagement that is rigorous and relevant, critical and academically challenging.

The overarching aim of the programme is to provide students with knowledge and critical understanding of a range of philosophies and paradigms, along with practical competencies and skills in qualitative/quantitative and mixed methods approaches to research.

Previous experience of External Examination is desirable, however mentoring arrangements can be arranged if appropriate.

The appointment will run from 1st October 2023 until 30th October 2027
