The Faculty of Health Studies, School of Allied Health Professions and Midwifery at the University of Bradford is looking for a dedicated individual to undertake the role of external examiner for our PG Radiography programmes to commence immediately for a 4-year term.
The postgraduate programmes include the recently NHSE accredited MSc Advanced clinical practice (Radiography), and MSc Medical Imaging.

The applicant should have appropriate expertise/experience in the areas of diagnostic radiography.
They will be able to undertake a paid role in the assurance of academic standards in Higher Education and should be aware of modern developments in the design and delivery of the flexible curriculum.
The role would be of interest to colleagues with an interest in curriculum development and design.
The appointee will be required to moderate a sample of work, submit an annual report, and attend Examiner Induction and Boards of Examiners as appropriate, virtually if necessary.
Applicants should not hold more than one other UK Higher Education External Examiner post at the start of the contract and will be qualified to at least masters level.
Previous experience of an External Examining would be advantageous, but not essential. Professional development opportunities are available to support new examiners.
The fee for the role is dependent on student numbers, the annual fee is subject to change annually, but in the first year would be £1,495.00
