The School of Allied Health and Community at the University of Worcester is seeking an External Examiner for the following programme:

Foundation Degree in Integrative Counselling Award

The FdA in Integrative Counselling has been a successful course delivered by a partner organisation, Iron Mill College (Exeter) with the University of Worcester for a number of years. Interested applicants must have relevant knowledge and experience in counselling and have HE experience of teaching, managing and assessing students on similar Undergraduate Degree courses.

The role requires external moderation of assessments and completion of the relevant reports, attendance at the Boards of Examiners (which are currently been held on-line) and completion of an Annual External Examiners Report. External examiners are invited to meet with the students either in person or online to enhance their understanding of the course and the student experience.

Programme details will be provided to the appointee and a full induction day will be offered. Further support is also provided by the Course Leader and module team.
