The School of Nursing and Advanced Practice, Faculty of Health is looking to appoint an experienced External Examiner to cover the two CPD collaborative partnership modules listed below:
CPD Consultant Leadership Development
CPD Consultant Stretch-Advanced Consultant Leadership Development.
The two modules are delivered as part of a development programme for both new and more experienced consultants working in the NHS.
The overarching aim of the modules is to develop a critically evaluative approach to managing change through leadership that enables the emergence of innovation in the development of high-quality healthcare services.
The Consultant Leadership module aims solid foundation in leadership skills, providing newly appointed Consultants with the skills, knowledge and ability to make a difference to the service they deliver. The Consultant Stretch Advanced Leadership Development is for those Consultants
who are experienced in the role. This module will equip Consultants with the full range of strategic level leadership skills that will help delegates to take the lead and make a difference.
Potential candidates should have both recent and relevant External Examiner experience. Recent experience is defined as their most recent External Examiner position concluding no more than two years prior to the start of their period of engagement at Liverpool John Moores University. Relevant experience will be judged in relation to both discipline and Framework for Higher Education Qualifications (FHEQ) level.
The period of appointment is for four years.
