The School of Health and Social Work is looking for a dedicated individual to join our friendly and committed team and undertake the role of external examiner for its full-time, pre-registration, BSc (Hons) Therapeutic Radiography programme, commencing in September 2024. This recently validated programme will run concurrently with the Level 5 and 6 of the BSc (Hons) Radiotherapy & Oncology programme. The appointment will be from September 2024.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified, experience academic staff, who hold current registration as a Therapeutic Radiographer. Previous experience of acting in the role of external examiner is desirable but not essential. The tenure of appointment is for four years. All external examiner appointments are subject to approval by the Director of the Centre of Academic Quality Assurance at the University. The successful candidate will have access to an on-line induction to familiarise themselves with the role and have the opportunity to meet the teaching team; additional support may be available for those who have not undertaken the role before.
