The School of Health Sciences, within the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Nottingham is seeking to appoint an External Examiner for our BSc (Hons) Sport Rehabilitation programme.

2. External examiner responsibilities, regulations and requirements:
a) Responsibilities:
External examiner responsibilities include external moderation of assessments, completion of an annual monitoring report and attendance at Examination boards (at least one per year) The School uses an electronic marking system. External examiners are required to make use of the system during the external moderation process.

b) Criteria and restrictions for the appointment of external examiners:

All appointments are subject to candidate(s) meeting the University’s criteria for appointment.
c) Requirements:
Applicants should have relevant academic and/or professional qualifications to at least the level of the qualification being externally examined, and have a valid teaching qualification.
Applicants should have current professional registration with the British Association of Sport Rehabilitators and Trainers (BASRaT)
The appointment will start from September 2022 and will be for a period of four years.
