We are seeking to appoint a Subject/Award External Examiner for the BSc (Hons) Radiography (Diagnostic Imaging) Degree apprenticeship route
This programme are based within the Peninsula Medical School, Faculty of Health. The BSc (Hons) Radiography (Diagnostic Imaging) is a degree apprenticeship programme. This position does require the external examiner to be a HCPC registered Diagnostic Radiographer
The appointment will be until 2026 and the commitment required is as follows:
- To review a range of coursework throughout the year
- To attend an online assessment panel per year and the submission of an annual external examiner report
- To engage in communication with the programme team
- To carry out at least one interim engagement per year (which may take the form of a ‘virtual’ visit via Zoom in recognition of the logistical difficulties presented by Plymouth’s geographical location) to obtain feedback from staff and students on assessment in practice and to strengthen their engagement with the ongoing teaching and learning process.
