The School of Medical and Health Sciences is seeking the appointment of an external examiner for the BSc Health Studies & CPD Programmes/Modules, MSc Dementia Studies and MSc Public Health & Health Promotion full and part time programmes.

The School of Medical and Health Sciences is based on two sites in North Wales. It has a focus on working with professionals and health services and supporting innovation in health care. The school has a world-leading profile in research in healthcare improvement.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified academic staff; applicants must hold a recorded teaching qualification. Experience of external examining would be an advantage, but is not essential. The School operates on-line submission, marking and feedback of assignments. Experience of Turnitin and Blackboard Ultra would be desirable, however training will be provided. The post will contribute to the quality and integrity of the programme through external moderation of assessments.

The appointment will be with effect from 1st September 2022 and will be for a full 4-year term. Full course details and documentation will be provided to the appointee and an induction day will be offered to be held at the University following appointment.
