The University of Winchester are looking to appoint a new Programme/Subject External Examiner for:
- BN (Hons) Nursing (Mental Health)
Applicants should be a current NMC registrant in the Mental Health field. They should have proven experience of mental health nursing practice and of programme delivery in an HEI setting at level 6. Previous experience of the External Examiner role is desirable but not essential.
The responsibilities of the role are to ensure that threshold standards are being maintained, that assessment procedures have been properly and fairly implemented and that standards of awards are at least comparable with those in equivalent institutions.
The appointment would begin in September 2023 and would be for four years. Applications cannot be considered if you have been employed by the University of Winchester within the last 5 years or if you have had a close working relationship with staff in the Winchester Nursing Faculty in the last 5 years.
