UWE Bristol, School of Health, and Social Wellbeing is seeking a Field External Examiner to start in October 2023. The post will be for 4 years and includes the need to attend various examination boards.

The subject cluster required a Field External Examiner to represent a range of academic perspectives in the field of Ultrasound, covering the MSc Medical Ultrasound programme which is accredited by CASE. Examples of modules are as follows; however, you may be required to look at modules outside of this subject area:

  • Contemporary Advances in Ultrasound Technology
  • Erasmus Professional Practice
  • Evidencing Work Based Learning
  • Fundamentals of Ultrasound Technology
  • General Medical Ultrasound in Practice
  • Gynaecological Ultrasound
  • Negotiated Specialist Ultrasound Practice 1
  • Obstetric Ultrasound in Practice
  • Professional Issues in Ultrasound
  • Ultrasound Technology

We particularly encourage applications from members of Black and Minority Ethnic communities, as this group is currently underrepresented among external examiners.
