Staffordshire University School of Health, Science & Wellbeing is seeking to appoint an External Examiner to ensure appropriate quality standards are achieved within the Postgraduate and continuous professional development programmes for the department of Midwifery & Allied Health. The successful candidate would maintain responsibility for MSc Health & Social Care (by negotiated learning) alongside level 7 research methods, dissertation and project-based change modules.
The above appointments will be for a period of 3 years.
Criteria for the appointment of external examiners can be found in paragraphs 6.8 to 6.12 of the University’s External Examiner Policy and Procedure. Whilst previous external examining experience would be an advantage, the University supports suitably qualified individuals wishing to secure their first post as an external examiner. First-time examiners will be allocated a mentor at the time of appointment.
