We are seeking to appoint an External Examiner. Applications are therefore invited from individuals who have demonstrable experience of teaching and assessing at Level 7, Professional Practice, Leadership and Education. External Examiners for both programmes would normally be expected to visit once per year for a Finalist Board, in addition to attendance at Examination Boards.
The appointments for External Examiners are normally for a period of 4 years commencing in October. All coursework is electronically submitted by students and is marked online using Grademark and Turnitin. External Examiners will be required to use the online moderating process, Programme/Module Guides and support will be available.
Person Specification
Essential:
- Working in a UK HEI with no formal educational links with Middlesex University in the last 5 years
- Current Professional Registration, including a teaching qualification
- Masters Degree or above in related subject areas
- Direct experience of teaching and assessing in applicable subject areas
Desirable:
- Research and publications
Appointments will be made in line with Middlesex University’s Guidance for External Examiners.
