Kingston University is seeking to appoint an external examiner for a new online blended critical care nursing programme. The tenure is for four years with effect from March 2022.

The new provision consists of one 15 credit and two 30 credit modules (L6/7), and prepares students to meet the Step 1, 2 and 3 competencies from the National Competency Framework for Registered Nurses in Adult Critical Care. The first intake will start in January 2022 and the modules are HEE funded. Kingston University also has plans to validate undergraduate and postgraduate Healthcare Practice awards in March 2022 and, subject to validation, the role will include examining selected acute care modules offered within these programmes.

The appointed examiner will be expected to attend up to four examination boards each year which are held at Kingston Hill Campus site, along with completion of an annual external examiner report.

Expenses will be reimbursed, and an induction will be offered
