The school of Health Sciences is looking to appoint an External Examiner for a range of established Masters modules and pathways that focus on, Helicopter Emergency Services (HEMS,) Critical Care, and Advanced Clinical Practice across the professions, home and international. These programmes are multi professional and aimed at supporting staff to deliver and realign services within complex and demanding health care environments.
External examiners will review a range of assessments from a variety of pathways, be a member of the board of examiners, and attend exam boards, comment, and give advice relating to curriculum design and programme structure.
Examiners will be expected to complete an annual examiners report form and engage with pathway leads and exam officers when necessary.

Applicants should have competence and experience relating to the assessment of health and should be currently employed as a Senior Lecturer or above within a University appointment. It would be essential that the applicant has a current registration with either NMC or HCPC.
