Wrexham Glyndŵr University in North East Wales is looking to appoint an External Assessor for the validation event of BSc (Hons) Paramedic Science programmes due to start September 2022. We are seeking someone with experience of teaching/validating Paramedic Science programmes.
Applicants should have appropriate subject expertise and be currently teaching in the relevant subject areas, and have had curriculum design/development experience relating to higher academic level programmes. We would be asking for comments on the curriculum design and structure, learning and teaching strategy, assessment and learning outcomes.
The validation event is due to take place on Friday 1st April 2022 and will be an on campus event at our Plas Coch Wrexham campus. This will be also be a joint accreditation event with the College of Paramedics.
We would require the role holder to review the documents prior to the meeting and provide comments, and then attend on campus with the other panel members and programme team. We offer a fee of £120 and can provide accommodation if required. Travel expenses would also be paid for.
