The University of Southampton is urgently seeking to appoint an experienced and suitably qualified academic to act as an External Advisor for the revalidation of the MSc Amputation and Prosthetic Rehabilitation programme
The External Advisor will be expected to act as a consultant to provide subject expertise and professional advice in the development of this programme. Applicants should have a good understanding of quality assurance issues at HE level, including the QAA Quality Code and have relevant subject knowledge.
Documentation will be shared with you prior to the revalidation event. While it will not be required for you to attend the event itself, your role will be to scrutinise programme documentation; the areas for consideration will include partnership links, quality and standards, curriculum design, teaching, learning and assessment, and the student experience.
It is essential applicants have not had previous associations with the University of Southampton in the last 5 years as an External Examiner.
