External Advisor: Approval of Apprenticeship Healthcare Assistant Practitioner for Hereford, Ludlow and North Shropshire College
The School of Allied Health and Community in support of their partner Hereford, Ludlow and North Shropshire College (HLNSC) is seeking to appoint an experienced and suitably qualified academic to act as an External Advisor for an approval event due to take place towards the end of March 2022 (date to be confirmed).
We are looking for:
- An EA1 who will act as a critical friend to the College as they develop the appropriate documentation.
- An EA2 who will be a panel member commenting on documents and supporting the panel with recommendations.
The University specifies that External Advisors should have relevant experience of Higher Education teaching at the appropriate level – normally at least 3 years, and in a capacity as course leader or similar. The applicants should have knowledge of Foundation Degrees, apprenticeships as well as collaborative courses.
In addition, external advisors should not normally have (or have had within the last 5 years) any professional relationship with the University of Worcester (or partner institutions) or with staff involved in the course undergoing reapproval.
