The University of Wolverhampton is seeking an External Advisor to serve as a Panel Member for the review of the Post Graduate Diploma for Community Nursing Specialist Practice (District Nursing) programmes, which will take place in early 2024.
Your principal role as External Adviser will be to confirm that standards are equivalent to those adopted across the UK Higher Education sector for similar awards (where applicable), standards have been set at the appropriate levels and that the course structure, content, learning opportunities and available resources are such that these standards can be met. This will be done through your involvement throughout the process and signing off documentation. If at any stage in the process, you have concerns that you may not be able to confirm academic standards, you should make this clear to the Officer as early as possible.
To preserve the integrity of the process, External Advisors nominees should not:
- Be a current External Examiners for the University;
- Have been employed within the previous five years at the University (including as an External Examiner);
