As Director of the Centre for Research in Health & Society (CRiHS), you will play a key role in ensuring the strategic direction of research and knowledge exchange within CRiHS and the wider Institute of Health.

With responsibility for the overall leadership and progression of the centre you will play a strategic part in its development and progression in line with our “Towards 2030” strategy. You will be a member of the Institute of Health Senior Leadership Team and play a pivotal part in progressing research, scholarship, and knowledge exchange across the whole of the Institute. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will ensure that all research, scholarship, and knowledge exchange agendas are part of the strategic progression of the Institute and its deliverables.

Growth of research outputs, research income, relationships with partners for knowledge exchange opportunities and the development of scholarship across the academic members of the Institute of Health are key expectations of the role.

You will be an innovative, creative, high quality researcher and scholar who can foster a culture of exploration, discovery and intellectual challenge that generates international recognition, respect and engagement.

A professional title will be considered for the successful candidate.
