The School of Healthcare Science is looking to appoint a Critical Friend to support the development of a revised Postgraduate Diploma in Community Health Studies (SPQ).
The role of the Critical Friend is to provide external developmental advice and a comparative perspective on the proposed programme development. You will be asked to consider relevant documentation in conjunction with the School, comment on the proposed development, offer advice where needed and provide a brief report summarising your main recommendations and comments on the process. You may also be invited to attend meetings with staff and stakeholders.
Ideally, interested applicants should be a senior lecturer or above and have experience in community nursing – District Nursing or General Practice Nursing. In addition applicants should hold a relevant Specialist Practice Qualification (District Nursing or General Practice Nursing).
The Critical Friend will receive a one-off fee of £200.
Anyone wishing to be considered is invited to submit an expression of interest and Curriculum Vitae to Shirley Willis at WillisR9@cardiff.ac.uk by 23rd October 2022. You are most welcome to contact Shirley for an informal discussion or for further details.
