The School of Healthcare Science is looking to appoint a Critical Friend to support the development of a revised Postgraduate Diploma in Specialist Community Public Health Nursing (Health Visiting) programme. The role of the Critical Friend is to provide external developmental advice and a comparative perspective on the proposed programme development. You will be asked to consider relevant documentation in conjunction with the School, comment on the proposed development, offer advice where needed and provide a brief report summarising your main recommendations and comments on the process.
You may also be invited to attend meetings with staff and stakeholders. Ideally, interested applicants should be a senior lecturer or above and have experience in specialist community public health nursing (SCPHN). In addition, applicants should hold a SCPHN qualification as a health visitor. The Critical Friend will receive a one-off fee of £200. Anyone wishing to be considered is invited to submit an expression of interest and Curriculum Vitae to Amanda Holland at HollandA4@cardiff.ac.uk by 8th November 2022. You are most welcome to contact Amanda for an informal discussion or for further details.
