Following on from the growth of UEL healthcare courses, we are now expanding our provision in advanced healthcare courses. We are seeking to recruit a Course Leader Physician Associate MSc to lead and develop our Physician Associate Course. This is a very exciting time to join an enthusiastic team of academics and get involved in teaching delivery of healthcare education at the University of East London.

At UEL, we work with several external partners who offer and support practice placements in advanced clinical practice. The healthcare programmes at University of East London thrive on the supportive partnership relationship with practice partners across the communities of East London and serves to support the health and social care needs of the local population.

We invite applications from enthusiastic candidates who are qualified professionals with master’s level qualification/or experience in advanced clinical practice. Candidates must be a registered professional from either: nursing, allied health, pharmacy, or medicine and have current professional registration, with clinical or teaching experience in non-medical prescribing. In addition, candidates should have experience of working in higher education or teaching in clinical practice. We welcome candidates with a strong passion for student-focused teaching, and a clear understanding and respect for the unique needs of the widening participation cohorts of students. The successful applicant will also have excellent knowledge of the professional and academic requirements of UK Higher Education courses and will be able to contribute to the development of advanced healthcare teaching at the university.

The school is based at the Stratford Campus within easy walking distance of the Olympic Park, vibrant Westfield shopping centre and developing East London cultural quarter and has extensive and easy transport links such as the Elizabeth line.
