The School of Health & Psychological Sciences is a leading provider of health education and applied research, offering outstanding teaching and clinical facilities in the heart of London.The Clinical Skills Centre provides a first-class learning environment to ensure the delivery of high-quality simulated practice and clinical skills for Nurses, Midwives, Radiographers and other clinical professions in training, to ensure the development of the students into safe and competent health care professionals.

Responsibilities

The Clinical Skills Educator (Nursing) is responsible for the development and delivery of clinical skills training and simulated practice for both pre and post registration students in the School of Health & Psychological Sciences, ensuring that the simulated practice and clinical skills training is delivered to the highest professional standard.

Person Specification

The successful candidate will have an honours degree and a postgraduate degree or appropriate and equivalent professional qualification. They will have current NMC professional registration. The successful candidate will also have experience of working in the health and/or social care sector, and teaching and delivery of clinical skills and simulation-based education. They will have an understanding of what is needed to provide a high-quality student experience, excellent organisational and time management skills, and the ability to prioritise a varied workload.
