This is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our Nursing team based at the University of Hull and will predominantly be working with student nurses and nursing associates. You will be a highly motivated self-starter who thrives on teaching and supporting the development and progression of students/Apprentices whilst providing the best educational opportunities for the Nursing/Nursing Associate workforce. The purpose of this post is to work closely alongside our academic team to provide clinical and practice focused teaching for our Nursing/Nursing Associate Students/Apprentices in accordance with educational standards outlined by the Nursing and Midwifery Council. The post holder will have an active role in recruitment, clinical skills teaching, personal supervision, clinical assessment, establishing and increasing engagement in the Nursing/Nursing Associate programmes across the sector.
We are looking for a registered adult Nurse with excellent leadership, management, communication and organisational skills.
Candidates should have good organisational, inter-personal, and communication skills, a student-centred approach, and have a passion for teaching, education and development activities as well as continued professional development.
This post will require an enhanced DBS check for Adult and Child Workforce.
