We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Nurse Educator to join us and support our Registered Nurse Degree Apprenticeships.
This Division is currently located within the Department of Nursing at the University of Huddersfield.
The Department places the quality apprentice experience at its heart and works collaboratively to ensure learners achieve the highest possible standards and have an enjoyable learning experience. This is evidenced by our recent OFSTED inspection (Oct 2023) at which we achieved an outstanding rating for our apprenticeship provision.
This is a varied and exciting role, allowing you to contribute to the development and implementation of the Nursing Apprenticeships Programme.
- You will join us to deliver teaching and learning of clinical skills.
- You will contribute to recruitment activities for the programme.
- You will be a professional and pastoral support to Nursing Apprentices.
- You will be instrumental in the quality assurance of the Nursing Apprenticeship.
We are looking for:
- A registrant with the Nursing and Midwifery Council – Nurse (any field).
- Somebody with a Degree or Higher degree in a health-related subject.
- Evidence of ongoing professional development.
- Recognised and up to date teaching/supervisor/assessor qualification e.g.: SLIP/ PEAP elf health.
