Permanent Full Time (1.0 FTE)
The Role
The Fellow’s teaching activities will depend upon experience but will principally focus on the delivery of teaching and learning within modules on the undergraduate courses in occupational therapy (20%). There will be an opportunity to support the wider aspects of course delivery, including administration and personal academic tutor roles (30%), and, through an Honorary Contract, support students in practice learning (20%). The Fellow will benefit from dedicated time and support for personal professional development (30%) which will include their PhD. The successful candidate will also enrol on the Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice (PGCAP).
You will work within an established and friendly group of academic and professional staff and will contribute to enhancing the work and the reputation of the School as a whole, collaborating effectively with colleagues in the Faculty, University and externally as appropriate.
The Person
We welcome applications from UK HCPC registered occupational therapists, who have a minimum of a relevant First Honours degree 2:1 or above with research skills to support the early stages of a PhD programme and ability to teach and provide teaching support at undergraduate level.
