The focus of the clinical element is operational leadership of the clinical practice team and the associated portfolio, leading on a programme of work to support the provision of clinical nursing practice within University Hospitals Dorset which is safe, evidence based, and upholds the trust values.

The focus of the academic element is leading research development within the area of clinical nursing relevant to our Research Centre, Nursing for Long-Term Health, and research-capacity building bridging development across the nursing teams from both organisations.

The postholder will be attached to the Research Centre, Nursing for Long-Term Health. The educational element of this role will focus on Postgraduate Research (mainly doctoral) supervision. Applicants must have current UK professional registration.
