London South Bank University is looking for an Associate Professor to join the Health Systems Innovation Lab (HSIL) in the Institute of Health and Social Care. Bringing together clinical and managerial, professional and citizen, the Health Systems Innovation Lab provides a safe place to think openly and explore and implement change: changes in ways of working together, models of care, the redesign or combining of different services or processes – all underpinned by powerful data intelligence.
The role holder will join the HSIL team and work closely with academics, Health Lab Associates and external organisations to ensure programmes/courses are delivered to contract and achieve all desired objectives. The post holder is expected to carry out significant Health Systems Innovation Lab roles, in particular course director roles for our clinical leadership programmes; managing innovation contracts with the NHS and Care services, as well as have the ability to conduct the typical duties of an Associate Professor which include, activities associated with recruitment, internationalisation, undertaking research and contributing to School committees, panels and processes.
As the HSIL activities involve both University accredited courses and external facing consultancy work, through South Bank University Enterprise Ltd. We are looking for an individual who is flexible and able to manage a wide and varied workload. Please note the balance of the role is significantly weighted to teaching and facilitating learning on our courses in the Health Systems Innovation Lab, and we are looking for someone with all round experience in knowledge development and application, who would be able to develop their skills in the adult learning approach we have to post-graduate education.

Permanent, part time role which can be job shared (circa 0.6FTE)
Full Time Salary: £55,334 to £63,557 per annum inclusive of London Weighting
Please note that the University is operating a hybrid working model which means a mix of working on site and from home, confirmation of days work on campus are arranged with the line manager.
