REQ008999
Grade 7: £34,304 – £43,434 pro rata, per annum
Part-time, permanent role – Fractional up to 0.4 FTE
Are you interested in developing your professional skills whilst also shaping the future of physiotherapy? Coventry University has expanded its portfolio of physiotherapy courses offering full-time and apprenticeship routes awarded at BSc and pre-registration MSc levels. We also offer post-graduate MSc courses and CPD modules.
Due to this recent expansion, the School of Nursing, Midwifery and Health have part-time teaching opportunities for motivated and enthusiastic physiotherapists who may be considering a move into academia. We would welcome applications from people working in any specialist area of physiotherapy practice.
The successful candidates must be registered with the HCPC and possess a thorough understanding of their specialist area of physiotherapy practice, and be able to demonstrate research and evidence-informed practice within that area. Experience of teaching students, either within a HEI or as a clinical educator, would be advantageous.
The posts are fractional (up to 0.4FTE) permanent contracts. Therefore, these posts are an ideal entry into academia, as they can be combined with a clinical post. The salary is dependent upon the skills and qualifications of the individual. Job descriptions will be available upon request from the Human Resources Department.
The University offers academic and professional development opportunities for staff. Coventry University support the development of teaching skills in new members of staff by providing access to a Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice in HE (PgCAPHE).
