Are you an experienced professional working in Social Work or health and social care looking for a change of direction, or maybe you’re already an academic looking to join a “Teaching Intensive, Research Informed” higher education institution whose distinctive high-quality, student-focussed, undergraduate and postgraduate programmes attract students from all over the world?
As a result of our ongoing success in providing Social Work education, and our growing provision, we are looking to appoint a new Lecturer within Social work / social care. It is expected that the role holder will contribute to the development of all facets of Social Work/Social Care within the subject group and to the wider portfolio of the Faculty.
Our staff are at the heart of everything we do: they are highly qualified and experienced in their fields, supporting their teaching practice by carrying out quality research and engaging in continuous professional development so, whatever your background, we are looking for candidates who can demonstrate a practical awareness of current developments in Social Work education as well as being able to facilitate the creation and maintenance of a range of links between courses and the Health and Social Work sector.
From the moment you join us, we will provide the relevant opportunities and support to gain the relevant teaching and academic qualifications that will be essential for the role.
All we ask in return is that you are experiences in this discipline and have a commitment to enhance your skills and qualifications and are passionate about education.
