The University of Worcester is looking for an Associate Lecturer to join the pool for The Association for Dementia Studies to deliver education and training for assignments in different geographical locations. Applicants should have a nursing qualification and significant experience of developing and delivering education and training in dementia to personnel at all levels in a range of health and social care settings.

The Association for Dementia Studies is part of the School of Allied Health and Community and upholds the overall mission of the University by providing high quality, accessible learning opportunities: promoting educational inclusion and equality.

Applicants invited for interview will be asked to give a 15-minute presentation based on an introduction to person centred dementia care for an audience of residential care support staff.

NB. If you are successful at interview, you will be invited to join a pool of sessional lecturers and we will contact you if suitable work becomes available. We are not able to guarantee employment as it will be subject to current demand.

*if only an element of this work is offered which does not involve additional preparation and administration, a standard hourly rate will apply, currently £19.23 plus £4.23 holiday pay.
