An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the School as Associate Dean for Economic, Social and Cultural Development. As Associate Dean you will be responsible for providing effective leadership, ensuring that the work and longer term direction of the School is fully aligned to the University vision, values and strategic goals.

The purpose of the post is to work with the Dean to develop and nurture the School’s contribution to economic, social and cultural development and to contribute to the wider University strategy in these areas. You will also contribute to the leadership of the School and facilitate collaborative working with other Schools and Departments to drive economic development and community engagement.

As Associate Dean you will develop identified teams of academic staff to achieve the School priorities and will support the Dean of School to implement University policy and strategy. Experience of successful and sustained leadership and line management will be an essential requirement for this role.

Salary will rise to £66,857 – £68,857 per annum from 1st August 2023.

We operate a hybrid working policy whereby you will have the opportunity to work off campus for 50% of the working week but you must be in a position to be present on campus to meet the requirements of the role.
