As one of three schools in the Faculty, the School of Nursing, Midwifery and Health is the largest School and delivers undergraduate and post graduate courses for a range of health professions including; nursing, midwifery, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, dietetics, paramedic science, operating department practice, and most recently diagnostic radiography. We also have a large portfolio of CPD courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels including Advanced Clinical Practice and Non-Medical prescribing. Coventry is ranked in the top 10 for 12 of the 44 subject tables it appears in, and 5 of which are within the School including nursing which is ranked 6th in the UK (Guardian University Guide 2023).

We are currently seeking to recruit a nurse academic into the role of Assistant Professor Adult Nursing with a vision to further enhance the success of the adult nursing admissions team. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual who will join the School to drive the School’s vision and ambitions for nursing courses and to support staff in effective delivery of high-quality courses and promote an excellent student experience. The role-holder will work with the adult nursing admissions team.
