This new post has been developed to support students studying on a variety of Allied Health Professional courses, to develop their mandatory clinical skills training in preparation for placements. In this role, you will work alongside our experienced nursing clinical skills team and support readying our learners for their practice placements. This includes co-ordinating the delivery of manual handling and CPR training; therefore, applicants should be able to demonstrate experience in delivering mandatory training. Applicants could be from a variety of Allied Health professions, but will need to be registered with the HCPC. This post is also an excellent opportunity to gain experience in an academic career.
Our School of Nursing, Midwifery and Health offers pre-registration qualifications to a wide variety of allied health students who study in a ‘state of the art’ health science building which offers simulation facilities, including a simulated ward, HDU, operating theatre, ambulance, radiography suite and community houses. The salary is dependent upon the skills and qualifications of the individual. Job descriptions will be available upon request from the Human Resources Department when applying for the post.
