The School of Health Sciences is multiprofessional in composition and situated in our state-of-the-art, purpose-built facility. You will contribute to the delivery and development of our portfolio of courses and actively engage in research/consultancy activities.
The School team includes professionals from a wide diversity of allied health and sport disciplines providing a wealth of inter-professional education and research opportunities. RGU has a long track record of excellence in teaching and learning. The radiography team has strong links with clinical service providers across Scotland, providing a network for collaborative working.
The School of Health Sciences aims to future proof our graduates by taking a student centred, innovative, practically applied and agile approach to develop the knowledge, skills and attributes required to be successful in a rapidly changing world. This is an exciting time to join the School to lead a team of academics who deliver courses in the Diagnostic Radiography subject area. You will actively contribute to the School’s strategic priorities by developing an industry-led postgraduate portfolio, contributing to the research activity within the subject and School as well as exploring and capitalising on relevant commercial activity.
You will support the Dean of School by undertaking delegated line management responsibilities for staff and any other delegated sub team and assume accountability for their performance. The work is incredibly varied, stimulating and rewarding with the ability to lead and develop the diagnostic radiography subject at RGU and shape the future radiography workforce.
