The School of Health Sciences aims to future proof our graduates by taking a student centred, innovative, practically applied and agile approach to develop the knowledge, skills and attributes required to be successful in a rapidly changing world. This is an exciting time to join the School to lead a team of academics who currently deliver the first course in the UK to offer a four-year Master of Occupational Therapy award as well as a DipHe in Wellbeing and Enablement.

You will actively contribute to the School’s strategic priorities by developing an industry led postgraduate portfolio, contributing to the research activity within the subject and School as well as exploring and capitalising on relevant commercial activity.

You will support the Head of School by undertaking delegated line management responsibilities for staff and any other delegated sub team and assume accountability for their performance. The post-holder will effectively develop and deploy staff, co-ordinating the work of the team.

Salary on first appointment is normally to the bottom of the scale, although in exceptional circumstances an appointment further up the scale may be considered. Relocation assistance may be available, subject to conditions.
