Reporting to: Subject Head – Postgraduate Education, Advanced Practice and CPD
Location: Faculty of Health, City Campus, although staff may be asked to work in any location within the University. Mobility between locations will be subject to the exigencies of the service.
Job Summary: The appointed person will be expected to make broad contributions to the academic work of the School of Nursing and Advanced Practice with a focus on postgraduate education across all its health programmes. The post holder will also contribute to the design, delivery, and evaluation of educational programmes for the education of the multi-professional health workforce.
Purpose of the role
To design and deliver a range of high-quality teaching materials that support learners from multi-professional areas of healthcare practice. Make a significant contribution to the planning, design and development of programmes and take responsibility for the management of teaching. Engage in high quality research activity resulting in high quality publication. Engage in relevant professional and knowledge exchange activities. Carry out assigned administrative tasks.
