Over the past two decades, the health and care sector has experienced significant growth in the range of simulation techniques available, driven by advances in immersive technologies. The value of simulation lies in its ability to achieve intended outcomes in ways that may not be as easily or safely accomplished through traditional educational or practice-based methods. But with the rapid evaluation of pedagogical approaches, there also needs to be support and development of the staff who deliver it.
