Council of Deans of Health Wales / Cyngor Deoniaid Iechyd Cymru

Council of Deans of Health Wales / Cyngor Deoniaid Iechyd Cymru serves as the strategic voice of university faculties in Wales engaged in nursing, midwifery and allied health profession education and research. The group meets on a quarterly basis, online and in-person, to discuss key priorities such as student and educator recruitment and retention, workforce development, the promotion of innovative practices, and the support of research initiatives.

CoDH Wales works closely with organisations across Wales to promote the contribution of education and research to high quality care. Key partners include Welsh Government, Health Education and Improvement Wales, Universities Wales, RCN Wales, and the relevant regulators and professional bodies.

Each institution is represented on the group by the two named members and is therefore not open to new members.
