We are seeking a Registered Adult Nurse for a substantive Lecturer role to join our innovative and enthusiastic team; this is an exciting opportunity to help grow and shape the future of our Nursing workforce in West Sussex within a well-resourced and digitally orientated facility. Our Pre-Registration Registered Adult Nurse and Nursing Associates courses are highly commended by the NMC for academic quality, innovation and close relationships to healthcare and wider sectors in which our graduates will work.

About you

You will have the knowledge, experience and skills to contribute to learning across our Nursing and Nursing Associate courses, you will bring your own specific clinical and academic expertise that will contribute across our curricula. You will need to be a current nurse registrant (RN/Adult or RGN) with the Nursing Midwifery Council, have experience of working in the UK, have expertise or potential for, innovative, effective and inspirational teaching and learning with students, have a postgraduate qualification in teaching or be prepared to undertake one.

Your teaching will be informed by a combination of practical experience and research to support high quality learning and teaching, experience of using Virtual Learning Environments (VLEs), and the use of technologies to enhance the learning, assessment of and feedback to our students.

The successful candidate will have a deep appreciation of person-centred nursing practice, be digitally literate, demonstrate emotional intelligence and enjoy working as a team.

You’ll need to demonstrate an ability to work effectively and positively within a small academic team, with the ability to develop a variety of approaches to learning and teaching that is student-centred, inclusive and flexible.
