Salary: Competitive starting salary range from £38,781 up to £44,093 per annum (dependent upon experience) with the potential to progress. A discretionary range for candidates with exceptional experience can be discussed/considered

The Role

As a Lecturer (Teaching) supporting our Post Qualifying MSc Nursing Programme you will undertake teaching and course co-ordination while supporting the development and delivery of undergraduate, postgraduate, and professional programs and other core activities ensuring students and our apprentices have an effective learning experience.

Duties include:

  • Teach on modules and courses at HE levels 4-7 in relevant academic subject areas including curation, adaptation and creation of module teaching materials, delivering a variety of types of students learning sessions and supporting students as appropriate through informal and formal communication throughout teaching blocks.
  • Supporting the design, implementation, ratification and quality assurance processes related to student assessment.

Qualifications Required

  • Active and live registration with the NMC
  • Master’s degree in an appropriate subject
  • A teaching qualification or acceptance of the requirement to acquire one if not held

Enthusiastic and self-motivated, you will have experience supporting, enhancing and engaging in an ‘active learning’ pedagogy with evidence in proactively supporting student success.

Innovation and collaboration are key to our success, therefore the ability to work both independently and part of a wider team with the willingness to engage in flexible ways of working are the key skills required.
