The Role
As Lecturer (Teaching) supporting our Nursing Associate courses you will undertake teaching and course co-ordination while supporting development and delivery of undergraduate, postgraduate, professional programs ensuring students and apprentices have an effective learning experience.
Based on site in Coventry, you will work closely with academic colleagues to enrich the student learning and teaching experience, ensuring relevant aspects of research, enterprise and professional context are embedded in modules and courses.
Duties include:
- Teach on modules and courses in relevant academic subject areas including curation, adaptation and creation of module teaching materials
- Support the design, implementation, ratification and quality assurance processes related to student assessment
Qualifications Required
- Active and live registration with the NMC.
- Practice Assessor training and experience of supporting student nurses is essential
- Master’s degree in appropriate subject or Honours Degree with appropriate professional qualification and/or membership is essential.
- A teaching qualification or willingness to acquire one

You will have demonstrable experience of successful teaching at higher education or within clinical practice with high standards of teaching, learning, student engagement.
Enthusiastic and self-motivated, you will have experience supporting, enhancing and engaging in an ‘active learning’ pedagogy with evidence in proactively supporting student success.
