The Role

As a Lecturer (Teaching) in Operation Department Practice you will teach and coordinate courses, supporting the development and delivery of undergraduate, postgraduate, and professional programmes to ensure an effective learning experience.

Based at CUHC, you’ll collaborate with academic colleagues to enhance teaching and embed research, enterprise, and professional context into modules and courses.

Key duties:

  • Teach HE levels 4–6, including creating/adapting materials, delivering varied learning sessions, and supporting students throughout semesters
  • Lead modules
  • Prepare and deliver formative and summative feedback

Qualifications Required

  • Registered with HCPC
  • Master’s degree or Honours with relevant professional qualification/membership
  • Teaching qualification

Our Successful Candidate

You’ll have teaching experience at HE levels 4–6 in Operating Department Practice, delivering high standards of learning. Self-motivated and enthusiastic, you’ll support active learning and student success.

Collaboration and flexibility are key, with the ability to work independently and in teams.
